What a great way to thank you!
Beautiful shawl! I started knitting that pattern a few months ago but let it hibernate for a while...I'll have to pick it up again!
YOU did a wonderful job and it's a very lovely gift.
When Matt and I got married, we printed out individual homemade thank-you cards that had photos of us using whatever gift the recipient was being thanked for as the front of the card. (This was very good fun at first, but I admit that it got a little wearing after a while.) But people really loved them, for the same reason you love this thank you -- it makes the recipient's appreciate that much more real.
