I heard the bells on Christmas Day
    Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on Earth, good will to men!
    -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Merry Christmas to you and your husbands and all those with him. It's never a good time to be there but Christmas must be especially bad. Luckily all of my husbands deployments were in the spring/summer/fall.

I'm so glad to see the tree, decorations and Chrismas stockings hung! I wonder if those are their own stockings from the states or if they were provided for them. Did you send your husband's stocking over that you knit for him?
