Congratulations to both of you! Not just socks, but a lifetime of them. And a sweater or two. All in good time! Hurray! And the ring's beautiful as well. Blessings -
Congrats! Can't wait to see the ring in person.
Congratulations! I am so excited for you!
Still have perma-grin from your phone call. You're right: the ring's gorgeous. I'm so happy for you both. And double yay! Nicole W posted! Exciting! Nicole, I miss you!I am feeling positively Whitman-esque with this explosion of exclamation points but, really, I think the situation merits excessive usage.
Congrats! What a gorgeous ring.
Congrats! Are you going to knit yourself a wedding dress, or at least a wedding shawl?
Congratulations! What wonderful news. Best wishes for a life of love and happiness!
De-lurking to say congrats! That is a stunning ring!!
Congratulations! What a beautiful ring! May you have many happy years together (oh, the things some people will do for handknits :) ).And if you do knit a wedding shawl, make sure you have a dress (or at least a dress style) picked out first. As much as I like my Tina Shawl, something about it just didn't work with the dress at all, so I ended up not wearing it.
holy cow! what a gorgeous ring. very beautifu.
I had a feeling this was coming. Best wishes!
Oh Theresa I wish you both every happiness! Better start on those socks...

Lucky girl! Congrats!
Knitted socks indeed! Congratulations!
Congratulations and best wishes! You better break out the good yarn for those socks.
congratulations, that is so exciting. what a beautiful ring!
So does this mean I have to start knitting YOUR chuppah soon? Perhaps the better gift would be to not make one for you that you would then feel obligated to use. Also since neither of you is Jewish, it would be somewhat unnecessary. I think I'll leave the knitting to you and will instead go hit up NY's finest rare book stores :) You found your Gilbert!
We are as thrilled to have this wonderful new son, as we were having a beautiful daughter 26 years ago. And, no tuition expense or childbirth anguish!!Love you, Dad and Mom
*GASP*Yay! I hope you have some lovely sock yarn picked out for him! :DEmily (yarnmiracle)
Oh, happy happy news! Congratulations! Now someone needs to get on organizing an online knitblog shower!

Terri - congratulations! This is really terrific news. And, we can't wait to attend a Navy wedding. Much love..... P.S. I'm sure PopPop is looking down, smiling on you right now.

I was aiming to be comment #100, but I don't think I can put it off any longer. Congratulations, Theresa! You've been obviously glowing with happiness -- even through your blog -- pretty much from the moment you met the Beau, and I couldn't be happier for the two of you. Here's to a super fast six months of flight school followed by a long, leisurely life together.
