Distraction

I knew it was a mistake.
This pattern is incredibly compelling. There was some long-neglected (and long-discontinued) Cotton Kureyon in my stash. And I thought I'd just "give it a try." Famous last words.

Oh no!!! You've been sucked in!!! I can't wait to see how it turns out. I keep going back to Knitty to check out their Lizard Ridge. I so want to make it, but the price of Noro is still keeping me from plunging in. Have fun.
Don't you have a lace project that needs some attention?
You could just make 2 and turn it into a pillow! (That's the instant gratification side of me talking ;-) )
Ooh, Cotton Kureyon. What a fabulous idea. Too bad it's discontinued.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one seduced by stash and new projects!
It looks great... go for it!
If you can't hack it or run out of yarn, I think it would be a beautiful scarf. And if you don't like the WS, you could add a soft backing. That is, unless you go all out and produce a blanket!
We apparently have a similar knitting line-up. That one is also on my to-do list, but I need to pick up some contrasting Kureyon and can't decide on a color.
Just lovely! I can feel my resistance weakening!
Whoa - that is gorgeous.
Oh you dirty dog! Why, oh why did I click on the link??? That is an amazing afghan and I just so happen to have a skein of Kureyon to play around with!
It always seems like a good idea at the time...
I can't stop knitting them! You'll be buying the wool Kureyon soon! There's a KAL at http://fuzzynoodleknits.typepad.com/leapin_lizards/
Occasionally, someone will post about a Kureyon sale.
And Aija is knitting a really cool variation at http://sockpr0n.blogspot.com/
Have fun!
